Making a mark
Background
In 2014, a group of young, passionate engineers came together to design Teewe—a wireless HDMI dongle that could convert any TV into a smart TV. Teewe found success with its ingeniously simple innovation and struck a chord with a new generation of hyper-connected users. The unprecedented success, spurred the group to pursue connected products as a focussed entity, and Codesign was commissioned to bring the brand to life, beginning with helping to articulate a clear brand proposition, and extending to naming and developing the visual identity system.
Brand Articulation
Through intensive workshop sessions with the close-knit team, we helped shape a clear articulation of the brand—its persona, beliefs, purpose and behaviour. These were instrumental in driving creation of communication for the brand and inspiring subsequent brand design, with their characteristic energy.

Brand Design
At the core of the Creo brand, is the bold maker persona, instilling a fearless optimism and agility into the brand design.
The identity system is designed to move, for a bold new generation on the move. With a characteristic spectrum of colours, type and a malleable ‘band’ as graphic element—the language moves seamlessly across media, to create multiple expressions that are strongly branded. In collaboration with motion design partner Addikt, the system comes to life with movement and sound that captures the spirit of the brand on on-screen media. Together, the Creo identity system presents agility that complements the fierce optimism of the new makers. It is designed to stand out, and grow rapidly, keeping pace with the dynamic team and its new ventures.
